(deceased) – Hall of Fame pitcher for the Boston Braves in 1942, and 1946 – 1952 and the Milwaukee Braves from 1953 – 1964. Most wins of any left handed pitcher and was a 20 game winner in 13 seasons. Other teams – New York Mets and San Francisco Giants. Inducted into Hall of Fame 1973.
